2010 Tournament Information

The 2010 Hilton Holiday Hall of Fame Tournament
December 28 and 29, 2010. 

Hilton High School Sports Hall of Fame annually recognizes those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Hilton athletic program and in some cases, at a higher level, through their participation as athletes, coaches or administrators.   

The 2010 Induction Ceremony was held during the Hilton High School Holiday Basketball Tournament Dec. 28. Activities included a pre-game reception and presentation of inductees in the gym at halftime of Hilton Varsity game.  This year’s honored Hilton CSD athletes are:
n Marisa Clark ’04 [Basketball, Soccer, Softball];
n Tyler Endres ’04 [Lacrosse, Football, Basketball];
n Tim Starwald ’96 [Baseball, Football] and coaches
n Dick LeBeau [Soccer and former Athletic Director] and n Ory Mee [Baseball, Basketball].  (more)

2010 Hilton Holiday Hall of Fame Tournament JV Results
The Hilton Cadets JV Boys Basketball Team defeated the Greece Arcadia Titans in the first round by a score of 53 - 31. They went on to defeat the East Irondequoit Lancers in the finals by a score of 63 - 34. The team was led by all-tournament selections Tyler Farrell and Jack Anten and tournament MVP DJ Logory.

The Hilton Sports Boosters Club will sponsor a food and drink ticket for all players and coaches. These tickets can be utilized at any time during the tournament.

AWARDS

Trophies will be presented to the team champion and the runner-up. There will be seven individual awards. There will be six All Tournament Team members. In addition there will be a MVP award for the outstanding player in the tournament.

Process for awards:

  First Place Team:
Gets 2 All Tournament members and MVP- 3 total awards

  Second Place Team:
Gets 2 All Tournament members- 2 total awards

  Third/Fourth Place Teams:
Get 1 All Tournament member- 1 award per team

The coaching staff will choose the award winners.
